The Pedi-Pull

The Pedi-Pull (or sometimes spelled Pedi-Pole) was designed by Joseph Pilates to challenge alignment, balance, control and strength. Most beginners will never even use this apparatus until well into their intermediate work. It does not give a lot of feedback like the cadillac or the reformer; so, it's crucial that the student has a solid beginner base in their Pilates work before beginning. Pictured above, is knee bends on one leg. The goal of this particular exercise is to increase balance and control along with coordination.
